Leo Dotson (Joe Taylor) is not fine. He's angry at God. It's his last
year at Bible college, and God has yet to fulfill his desire for
romance. Everyone around him seems to be happily in love, especially
his best friend, Will (Travis Wininger), who is engaged. Frustrated
with his loneliness, Leo gets in his car and wakes up the next morning
with Jes (Amanda Kleinhenn) whom he is unsure how he met. Later
that day, Leo is reunited with Mari (Andrea Summer Houp), and old
friend and the perfect Christian girl. Leo is sure that this is
God finally fulfilling his desire for a relationship. Will things
work out with Mari, will Leo go back to Jes, or does God have different
plans?
The Thornburg Brothers dare to explore areas where most Christian
films fear to go in this first feature film from independent Christian
production company Okeedoke Pictures. Accompanied
by a moving original score by Ben Thornburg and shot entirely on
location in Cincinnati, Fine is a raw
film about being real with God.
